Getting Here

Orlando International Airport is the second busiest airport in Florida. It is served by many major airlines.

Unfortunately, the Swan and Dolphin Resort does not have its own shuttle service to and from Orlando International Airport, but we do recommend a third-party company, the Mears Transportation Group. Mears has shuttles, taxis, and town cars. The shuttle service costs $36 round trip and $22 one-way, per adult. The desk for Mears is located near the baggage claim. The shuttle leaves every 30 minutes from the airport (you do not need a reservation from the airport), and can take 1 to 2 hours to get to the resort because of the possible stops beforehand. You need a 2-hour advance reservation for your return trip to the airport on the shuttle. Taxis run between approximately $60-80, and the town cars are $85 from the airport to resort, and $70 from the resort to the airport. Town cars are available 24 hours a day at the front of both resorts. To make a reservation with Mears, you can visit their website at mearstransportation.com or by calling their local number at (407) 423-5566.

If you are staying at a Disney Hotel, you can take advantage of Disney’s Magical Express to whisk you from the airport to your hotel. Reservations are required in advance.

As with every major American airport, car rentals are available as well.

Getting Around

If you are staying through the weekend (and why wouldn’t you?!) there’s plenty to see and do to keep you occupied. Disney runs many shuttles to and from their parks for your convenience. Make sure to check at your hotel for times and availability.

I•RIDE Trolley is also a great and inexpensive way to travel up and down International Boulevard. Check out their list of 50 Ways to Have Fun in Orlando for ideas of what to do and see while you’re here!
